I have decided to run the London Marathon for PARC (Play And Resource Centre) Essex - a place where children with additional needs can spend time playing and using recreational facilities in a safe and secure environment. They currently help around 470 families in the Essex area and this number continues to rise! 

This is a charity very close to my heart as I am currently working as a physiotherapist within a practice which is helping children with disabilities fulfil their potential and aiding their physical development. With the vast majority of children this involves helping them learn to walk or improve their independence with every day activities. I therefore currently work with numerous children who attend PARC and am constantly being told about the fantastic opportunities provided at the centre by parents & families alike. I would like your help in securing its financial health for the coming year. The centre needs funding in order to make sure that the children can still access the facilities at a subsidised rate and ensure the incredible work being done by staff can continue! 

Please give what you can, it is all going to a very worthwhile cause! Any donation will also make the training on a cold, wet & windy Tuesday night along the seafront feel a little less horrible so please do take the time to pledge!
