For those that know me well I have probably mentioned MaK or Kosovo to you previously. The work they have been doing not only in Kosovo but supporting refugees from the brutal 98/99 war is unbelievable. I have been involved over the last 9/12 months and am particularly passionate about further developing the Park that MaK and the people of Podujeva have created.

The children, young adults and adults that use the facility are desperate for a playing field to use for football and for the summer clubs the charity runs. They do not have one at present due to the top soil being removed during the war and the ground is rock hard.

Just under €12,000 is needed for all of the work and I am determined to help these people get what they need to be able to play a simple game of football! I will also be visiting the park in Podujeva in the summer. If you want to find out more about MaK or want to get involved do let me know.

Secondly, I am a big guy that loves his food, therefore I have plenty of lbs to share. That is why I am asking for your help. Not only to donate what you can towards the park but to keep me on the straight and narrow when it comes to not destroying a packet of Serrano ham. 

For every lbs I lose I will donate £5. I have set the last day to August 9th. Now the important bit, I am as of today (May 9th) 22st 9lbs, light as a feather I know!

Please give what ever you can, MaK are truely a great cause and I need to slim down to ensure I win the Fathers race at my sons first sports day in 2 years time!!
