We raise funds for children with cancer to help them through treatment using play.

Story

Give A Duck is a small local Yorkshire charity aiming to help children in their fight against cancer by providing them with adorable teddy ducks that accompany the child through their treatment, even in their loneliest moments when their parents cannot be with them. As you can imagine the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in children is devastating for all involved. The chemo duck provides hope and inspiration for the children and their parents at the most difficult of times. If we can make the experience even 1% better for one child then let's do it!

My company Sky Betting and Gaming have chosen Give A Duck as their charity of the year for 2017 and there will be many more fundraising events throughout the business this year as we aim to raise the maximum amount of money to support this worthy cause.

Myself and several colleagues will be taking part in a golf marathon at Oakdale Golf Club in Harrogate on Monday 3rd July 2017 whereby we will be playing 72 holes in one day, which for the non golf enthusiast roughly translates to 16 hours of golf or the equivalent of walking a marathon.

If you can spare any money at all towards this worthy cause it would be much appreciated. Every penny donated will go towards helping to improve a child's experience of cancer treatment through positive play therapy with their Chemo Duck.

Thank you.

Oli
