Story
This summer, I will cycle the 140-mile C2C from Whitehaven to Tynemouth, and run the Great North Run half marathon in Newcastle.
To mark my North East 'Summer of Sport', I am raising money for Smile for Life, the charity that empowers disabled young people to live full and happy lives, back in my hometown of Newcastle.
My mum Carol volunteers for Smile. She has seen first-hand the impact their support can make, whether it be confidence-building day trips away, or work placements at Cafe Beam, the charity's much-loved eatery.
I know times are tough, but any donation - large or small - would be really appreciated. Every disabled youngster deserves the opportunity to thrive, and Smile for Life is working hard to make that happen.
Thanks,
Ollie (and Carol!)
