I attend a social club called Wednesday Tweens and Teens at MAIN. This club is for teenagers with Autism, and allows us to access the community independently, socialise, make friends and become more independent. I have autism and I love the club as it allows me to leave the house more often, make friends and become more independent whilst accessing activities guided. I get to go to places I would not have been able to access independently as I feel vulnerable out on my own as I sometimes struggle to read social cues and social situations, so the group allows me to access the community without feeling overly anxious. I love going to the group. 

We are currently fundraising to go to Disney Land in July 2019, this will be a once in a lifetime trip for us as we will get to go abroad without our family and explore Paris and  Disney Land. We need to raise £3500. We have currently raised £1800.

I am doing a 1 mile sponsored swim at Thornaby Pool on Tuesday 19th February at 2:30pm until 4pm. 1 mile is equivalent to 1609 metres which is 65 lengths of the pool. I love swimming but this will be a big challenge for me!
