Story
On September 24th I will be braving the streets of London again for another good cause! This time I will be running the Ealing Half Marathon for Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (CARAS), a charity I have been volunteering with for the past 9 months. Based in Tooting CARAS does incredible work within the community and offering help, support and a safe and fun place for unaccompanied young people to come to.
Every week these young people surprise me with their humour, generosity and humbleness despite some of the awful experiences they have had to endure already in their lives. It is a pleasure every week volunteering with CARAS and I am hoping to raise some money as a way to give back to these young people for making my Saturdays that much brighter!
So any donations, be it big or small, would be much appreciated and will really make so much difference. This money could help buy new games and equipment for the youth clubs at CARAS, or could even cover a day trip out in London, giving these young people experiences which will last a lifetime!
Thank you in advance!
