I spent 11 months in Birmingham Childrens hospital in 2011 after I fractured my spine in an accident and im finally nearing an end of muscle rehab. When I came out of hospital I was walking but could not run even very short distances. I aimed to run 400m by the start of January 2013. Sadly I missed that target but I succeed with 360m just last month. I walked a fun run in summer 2011 (3 miles that took me roughly 3 hours) I will be taking part in a 5km fun run after easter, and I am hoping to run at least part of it... but I'll definitely finish faster than last time :) 

Birmingham Childrens was a real help to me and I have seen a lot of where this money will go to. The hospital treats some of the sickest kids in the country - Some of these kids are stuck in hospital for ages, and some are in and out regularly. The money I raise goes to supporting the children and their families, trying to help them feel comfortable when they need it most.
