We are organising a fund raiser for a charity close to our families hearts, as many of you know our little boy Oscar, suffers with a condition called MCADD, a rare metabolic condition, that before we had the diagnosis we hadn’t ever heard of. There are hundred of other rare metabolic diseases that affect families every day and the Metabolic Support UK charity provides daily support to families like ours. This last week has been metabolic disorders awareness week and they have been asking families to walk, jog, swim just 1 mile! But we want to go one better, we want to raise as much money as possible. We’re planning on walking the mile locally round barnoldswick on the 19th August but including a treasure hunt along the way, then back to the Rolls Club which has generously offered to host a tombola and charity horse racing event after.

We’re one of the lucky families but there are so many that aren’t and we want to make as many people aware as possible but in the funnest way possible.
