On Saturday, September 3rd, 2011, two friends, Paula and her fiance, Andrew and myself  'appeared' at the Outrageous Cabaret Bar, in Carlisle, Cumbria. I volunteered to be 'custard pied' several times as were my friends to raise money. Andrew and I have lost five babies between us with our respective partners (Alex, 'Squiggle', Jackie, Tom and Grace) Paula has lost four brothers and sisters at various stages in pregnancy.

On the night we raised £226, including a £50 donation from Outrageous for which we thank the staff abd customers very much. As it was originally planned as a girls night out, we asked Andrew to dress as a woman to help raise more money, which he did.

 

On the night, both Andrew I were custard pied by Jamie John, the UK's only drag artist dwarf, and co-star of Channel 4's 'Seven Dwarves'.
