Most people have never heard of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection ( SCAD). It’s a heart condition that can’t be predicted or prevented and has no cure. It mainly affects women who have none of the traditional risk factors associated with heart disease and can cause a heart attack, heart failure, cardiac arrest and can often be fatal. We just don’t know enough about it and we need to save the lives of young mums, sisters, aunts and grandmothers. That’s why I’m raising money for Beat Scad.
