Story
In memory of my sister Nishi, who had learning disability, I am raising funds to help others who are differently enabled to realise their dreams.
I work for Handicap International UK. Handicap International is an independent charity working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work tirelessly alongside disable and vulnerable people to help meet their basic needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights,
In Philippines, Philippe Pascal was among the first emergency experts to be sent by Handicap International, after the country was hit by the worst typhoon in recorded history. He supported rubble clearance and distribution of aid by local organisations. He then managed a Cash for Work project to help vulnerable people play a role and make a real contribution. Check out:

Tomorrow, 27 September I am undertaking a 15 km walk with Erick & our friend Chris around Great Missenden to generally support the work of Handicap International in Philippines & other countries.
