Fundraising for Stockport Mind
Story
On Friday 18th September 2015, the front car park at Stockport-based parking company ParkCloud will undergo a dramatic transformation to celebrate the arrival of PARK(ing) Day, an annual global event which turns parking spots into temporary public spaces.
Centring around the theme of ‘Peace of Mind’ an ordinary car park will for one day only exist as a haven of peace and serenity as two teams go head to head in an all-day ‘Yoga Relay’ session to help fundraise for adult mental health charity Stockport Mind.
Members of the public as well as businesses from the Stockport area will be invited to attend this unique event set to feature a green Yoga space, ‘chill-out’ zone complete with deck chairs, a ParkCloud staff recruitment area, as well as a chance to meet and chat with representatives from ParkCloud’s charity partner for the day Stockport Mind.
