I'm taking on Cancer Research UK's Tough 10 - a brand new series of epic 10k runs over some of the UK's toughest terrain.

At Roundhay Park I'll be trying to stay on my feet as I conquer a 10k course consisting of steep muddy trails and streams.

1 in 2 people born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime. So dig deep, and help Cancer Research UK scientists take on their toughest challenge yet - to beat cancer sooner.

Andrea and I are running this tough 10K in memory of my husband David.  As many of you will know, he fought a hard battle against cancer and did so with courage and determination.

I wanted to do something which would contribute to beating cancer and hope you will support me in my journey.
