Story
Patrick and Hugh first met at University of Durham in 2003 and quickly realised they had a shared love of travel, football and pool - but neither were keen joggers! They have remained firm friends - and Hugh is the Godfather to Patrick's son, William. They both love the North-East: particularly the friendliness of the people, the beauty of the landscape and the rich culture of the cities. They have friends and family in and around Newcastle and visit regularly.
Patrick and Hugh are therefore delighted to be running for North Tyneside Disability Forum at the Great North Run on 8 September 2019. NTDF is a small, self-funded charity based in North Tyneside & established in 1987 (so nearly as old as them!). It provides activities & events for all ages and abilities (for both disabled and able bodied people). NTDF relies heavily on charitable funding (it receives no government or local authority financial support): every donated penny will help support disadvantaged residents in North Tyneside. We aim to raise £500 for this incredible cause. Please donate whatever you can - every penny helps...
Thank you!
