On Saturday 4th September we are having a memorial charity day in memory of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, father in law, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and Friend Paddy McCormack to raise money for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre who are an amazing cancer specialist. 

In November 2019 dad was diagnosed with Renal Cancer with bone and liver metastases and was told it was not curable. In December Dad had a fall and was again diagnosed with cauda equina on his spine which unfortunately left him paralysed from waist down. Dad remained positive throughout his whole illness and quickly learnt to deal with his new way of life. He was treated by Mount Vernon where he received amazing care and ongoing support to us all as a family. 

In memory of Dad we are wanting to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy charity so Mount Vernon can help other families like ours and in memory of our wonderful Dad, this is what he would have wanted, to give back to the people that helped him the most. 

All that knew him would agree, he was the most gentle, loving and kindest man with the biggest heart. He touched the hearts of everyone he met. He loved life but most of all his family. A true gentleman. Life will never be the same without him. 

A life so beautifully lived, deserves to be beautifully remembered.
