Most people knew Kate and even if you did not, she’s the kind of person you wish had. Kate was vivacious, energetic, joyful, caring and would do anything for anyone at any time.

Kate meant so much to so many people and it was amazing to see hundreds of people at the cricket match she arranged, to be with her in spirit. The cricket match raised thousands of pounds for Cransley Hospice.

Thank you to everyone that donated cakes, raffle prizes and food and to Weekley and Warkton Cricket Club - it was a brilliant day. Due to the value of some prizes donated it was decided to hold a silent auction for these.

In the last days of Kate’s life, Cransley Hospice provided much needed support for Kate, Bill, Ed, Harriet and Freddie.
It is only when you experience the need of a place such as Cransley Hospice that you realise their importance and how much they rely on donations.
