So somehow I’ve been convinced to enter the AJ Bell Classic,  Ski endurance, biathlon and Skicross. 

If you’ve been skiing with me you’ll know I’m pretty hopeless, think wayward 25 handicap in golf terms and that’s me. That said I love it and love the mountains. Like most of my mates as kids we had no chance of ever getting to the Alps. School skiing trip letters never even made it home and I was 40 before I got skis on.

This charity is brilliant, kids from care and underprivileged backgrounds get a taste of winter sports and free coaching. Imagine never having left your estate and being whisked off the Alps at an age when you’re  bendy enough to learn fast.

To be clear we’ve all paid for our trip and made a chunky donation so all your money goes to the Charity and not on our Apres Ski
