Fundraising for YMCA Exeter
Story
I’m sleeping rough so others don’t have to.
It's that time of year again, and once more I'll be spending one night under the stars to raise awareness of youth homelessness in Exeter and raise valuable funds for YMCA Exeter to help them continue their fantastic work.
To give you an idea of how money raised could be spent:
- £60 could provide brand new kit for a YMCA resident - such as duvet and pillow, cutlery and crockery.
- £180 could provide 6 group sessions a year for 8 young people such as job clubs, cooking classes and budgeting skills.
- £500 could provide 2 months' support for 4 young people living in Exeter YMCA's move-on house.
- £5,000 covers all the costs of one resident living with Exeter YMCA for nine months.
