Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Charity supports local veteran communities and their families in NI with a particular focus on helping individuals experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In addition, Beyond the Battlefield also supports associated problems connected with PTSD. These include alcohol abuse, domestic violence, family separations, homelessness and financial difficulties, stress and anxiety disorders, Trauma, self-harm, suicide, and bereavement.

All services offered from Beyond the battlefield are delivered by volunteers free of charge. This motivates us to endeavor to raise as much funds as possible to enable such vital services to continue.

So, what is our idea?

Paul & Danny who are both currently serving military members are running a charity event to raise awareness and funds to support this local small Charity doing a massive job. 

Last year through Covid-19 They helped 854 Veterans and their families with all issues they have been presented with. 

Our running challenge will be begin Friday 26th March 2021 it’s a 4x4x48 running challenge wearing a 16lb weight vest.

About the charity

We work with all issues concerning veterans from the Ex-Services in N.I. Our main area of expertise is offering Specialist Counselling Services to those experiencing PTSD and connected comorbidity issues: panic disorders, hypervigilance, drug/alcohol/ domestic abuse, self-harm and homelessness.
