Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The annual charity ride takes us from Belfast to Dublin in 3 days. This journey will involve over 150 miles of roads, hills and painkiller pills. None of the team are what you could describe as "athletic cyclists" so we will all find this ride extremely challenging. That said, we are all up for this challenge for the Amelia May Foundation. Please take a look at their web site and you will understand why we are so committed to putting ourselves through 3 days of Irish spring weather (last year involved horizontal hail stone). The team includes 7 riders and 3 support crew: Lee Chamberlain, Mark Harrop, Paul Rigney, Eddie Goulding, Alan Collins, Mike Frogg and Owen Hough make up the peloton group. Saul Murphy, Alan Hough and Terry Alan make up the support crew, who will be providing transport, motivation and hot oiled leg rubs!! So please donate what you can to support us on our journey of Lycra, Legs and Laughs.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The Amelia-Mae foundation was set up when we lost Amelia-Mae to Neuroblastoma at aged 2. We, the volunteers of this charity, fight in Amelia's name to ensure no family goes unsupported throughout and beyond treatment. Please help us to sustain this support
