The wonderful staff and businesses based on the Sci-tech campus in Daresbury have committed to supporting the work of Stick 'n' Step by taking part in a range of fundraising events in 2020.

Story

Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood, and Stick 'n' Step works with children and young people with cerebral palsy, and their families, from all across North West England and North Wales.

It is great we support this charity at the science and technology campus where I work - Sci-Tech Daresbury. My colleague John was first out of the blocks to run his own personal half marathon after the Chester race got cancelled due to Covid 19.  I was planning on riding the Liverpool Chester Liverpool bike ride on the 5th July before it was delayed to later this year.

So taking a leaf out of John's book, I decided not to delay and will ride this on the same weekend 4-5th July - my own 50 mile challenge bike ride!  Do give whatever you are able to this great cause.  Children and young people, particularly those with special needs, deserve the best start they can get and Stick 'n' Step are doing an amazing work to support them!
