<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Hello hello my dear friends e amigos queridos!</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #ff6600;">In case you haven't heard, I'm going to spend 2 1/2 months in KENYA this summer!!! I'm obviously very very excited, as I will not only be in a beautiful country but <strong>volunteering towards a great cause.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Last year, I joined a student run charity <strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><a title="EGP Homepage" href="http://egp.eusa.ed.ac.uk/" target="_blank">EGP</a> </strong>(stands for Edinburgh Global Partnerships) at the University of Edinburgh and I am now the coordinator of an <strong>EGP project </strong>in <strong><a title="project kenya" href="http://egp.eusa.ed.ac.uk/kenya11.html">Kenya 2011</a>.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff6600;">I will be going, together with 7 other students, to <strong>CONSTRUCT A YOUTH CENTRE AND TEACH MUSIC/IT/PHOTOGRAPHY </strong>at a <strong>Community Based Organisation </strong>called <strong><a title="Tinada youth group project details" href="http://basushinjini.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Tinada Youth Group</a></strong>.Working under the motto "Aspire to Inspire", the CBO aims to <strong>empower youth </strong>and <strong>improve their well being. <br /></strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;">In order for this to be possible, we need to raise </span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"><strong>&pound;10,000 </strong></span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;">for all the </span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"><strong>construction material </strong></span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;">and </span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"><strong>skilled labour </strong></span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;">involved. </span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"><strong>ALL </strong></span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;">of the money raised will go towards the project and will not be used for our personal costs. To raise this money, we have been been doing all sorts of </span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"><strong>FUNDRAISING activitivies </strong></span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;">such as bake sales, club nights, tin-colecting, Valentine's day sale and many many others.</span></span></p> <p style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #ff6600;">Well, I'd like to <strong>THANK YOU </strong>for visiting my page and if possible, a donation or better <strong>ANY DONATION </strong>would be much more than welcome<strong>.
