Thankyou so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

I take into 2010 a world of possibilities and promise myself that with my maturing courage, strength and love I will achieve my dreams...

So here I am, living out my dream, training well underway and now kindly asking my friends and family to dig deep and donate to this worthy cause.. Please make each training session in the snow, ice, dark, early morning and night  worth while... I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm scared, anxious and emotional, but your donations and this worthy cause will make this amazing journey all the more momentus for me!

The Virgin Marathon is in April 2010, so we have quite some time to exceed that £1600 goal! Every single penny counts so don't worry about how small your donation is...I'll happily take it!!!

 

15th Feb - Have now gone over the £600 mark which is fantastic -  now just another £1000 to go!... and only 68 days left till the big day -  OMG OMG!!!!! Training has been really tough over the past week, but your sponsorship is keeping me motivated so thankyou!

17th Mar - Not far off the £1000 mark which is fantastic. So proud as this is all going to such a worthy cause. If it helps in bringing in more donations, I can barely walk today after a 11.5 mile off road run, dodging rabbit holes and low trees -  seemed like a good idea at the time! Have the Race your Pace half marathon next week which will be a fab way for me to work out how long it will take me to complete the Marathon. Anything under 5 hours would be an amazing achievement for someone who less than a year ago could barely run 5k! Anyway, I'm aching, I now officially have the ugliest feet ever, but its all worth it thanks to you lovely people for your generous donations!!

18th April - only £25 away from my target which is absolutely amaaaaaaaazing!! I cannot believe that I am so close to reaching my target BEFORE the marathon -  it just goes to show how generous and wonderful all my fab family and friends are! So 4 days and counting... I cannot believe how quickly the time has come round. My heart is pounding and my legs are like jelly with nerves, but I am equally excited! For those of you that can make it -  the Crisis cheerpoint is going to be at mile 24-25 (look out for lots of red and white). Thankyou so much to you all once again for your generous contributions.... together we have changed the lives of others! U should feel bloody good about yourself!!!
