The Charity
The Charity we will be raising funds for is Last Night a Dj Saved my Life and in particular their "Have a drink on us Campaign". This campaign aims to raise funds to construct clean water sources and solutions for those communities across the world currently living without it. One well can change many lives. Many people, in particular children and females, have to walk on average around 6 hours a day to obtain water. Water that is most of the time dirty, unsafe and full of harmful diseases.
By installing water solutions such as wells in these communities, it not only saves lives through minimising water born diseases, but also saves around 6 hours a day in which these children can become educated. Improving their chances of a better future.
We in the first world take water for granted and in the hospitality industry water is even more key. It is used to create all the spirits that we sell, drink and use on a daily basis. Clean water should be a right and not a privilege.
Any money donated will be used to help build these well and water solutions and inevitably save and change the lives of many communities across the world. Thank you for your donations in advance.
The team that is taking part come from all over the industry with Brand Reps from Moet Hennessy , as well as bar backs, bartenders and owners from Lab 22 , Handsome Jack and Ten Mill Lane in Cardiff and Hyde and Co group in Bristol.
