I am President of Colchester Medical Society 2017 and one of the traditions of this role, is to raise money for a chosen charity. My friend Sharon and I were students at University of Glasgow and back then walked the West Highland Way together. We were fit then !! Sharon works for Childnet and on Friday 24th January, the Chief Executive Officer of Childnet, Mr Will Gardner, is going to talk to the Society. I am very grateful to him for agreeing to come to Colchester and look forward to his presentation. The charity works towards making the internet safer for children to use. I am not sure I can walk 15 miles in one go, Sharon may have to carry me, however, I will give it all my effort, Osteoarthritis Knees and Mortons Neuroma included.
