Greetings from the falklands!

On the 24^h June, the annual midwinter swim takes places on Surf Beach, Stanley. Ramboll Falklands staff (and our mascot Duck™!) will be braving the frigid waters in aid of SAMA 82, the charity that helps with veterans of the 1982 conflict.

We feel that it would be great to give something back to the
community whilst we are down here, particularly to the men whose lives have
been permanently affected as a result of experiencing combat.

We will be entering the South Atlantic Sea in the middle of winter, so the temperature will be quite low- with the wind chill it will be about -20 degrees!

We will be dressing as if it was the Caribbean, as we have no concept of latitude.
