Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided that it was time to take on another challenge. After cycling from London to Paris a few years ago in aid of Shelterbox I managed to raise over £3000, so I think it is time to have another go. Helping me on this 365km journey are Karen, Julian and Helen. We're paying all our own expenses so every penny we raise will go to WaterAid. They give children relief from carrying water for up to 6 hours a day, thus freeing them up to go to school and gain an education. Many have been abused or raped while collecting water from remote water sources so having water in the heart of the village has many many benefits.

We're starting to get into training and hope by April / May next year we'll be ready. I'm not expecting everyone to cycle all the way, but I am certainly going to give it as much as I can. I'm also doing it in memory of Dorothy (Dorfy) who recently died and was a strong supporter of this wonderful charity.
