For those that know me, the BHF is something that is very close to me. 

I was born with 2 holes in my heart, I had two operations to fix these. One when I was 1 and another when I was two.  In addition I was born with a kink in my Aorta.  The knock on effect of this is that I had an enlarged aortic route. This was fixed in 2009 by Professor Robert Bonsor (Who sadly passed away in 2012).  Now 5 years after my last operation I'm fit as a fiddle however I will require further surgery to replace my bicuspid aortic valve. 

I'm doing this ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. They do amazing research into heart defects and they work with those that have suffered from conditions like me.
