Story

The Wates Construction
Residential London team have bravely put a team forward to complete a River Thames
canoe race challenge in order to raise funds for our charity partner TCV,

The Conservation Volunteers
(TCV)

Kicking and screaming the following Olympic
rowers agreed to get in the boat, Richard Shroll, David Seaman, Sam Hewitt,
Jamie O’Neill, John Noble and Riya Rathod, please could you help our team raise
as much money for our chosen charity as possible.

“Every day TCV works across the UK to create healthier and
happier communities for everyone - communities where our activities have a
lasting impact on people’s health, prospects and outdoor places. Join in, feel
good.”

The values of TCV are very close to our hearts at
Wates and we are delighted to be able to take this opportunity to raise funds
whilst enjoying a day splashing around on the river and concentrating our
efforts on
trying to win the race and most importantly on staying inside the
canoe!
There is also competitive pride at
stake and group bragging rights to consider.
