YMCA North London Fun Run & Festival 2020
Fundraising for YMCA London City and North
Story
This year I registered for the YMCA North London 10k as usual. The event had originally been scheduled for May and then was postponed to September due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Sadly, it has now been cancelled as it will not be possible to hold the event due to the continuing situation.

So I will be running the course on my own on or around 15th September to see what I can raise to help out.
The Fun Run is YMCA North London’s usual annual flagship fundraiser and delivers vital funds to provide services to vulnerable young people in the community. For example:
- Shelter and safety plus academic, social, and pastoral support for the 150 residents in our hostel
- Specific educational guidance and employment training to help disadvantaged individuals find their voice and their path into sustainable independent living
- Concessions for fitness, childcare, gymnastics and dance activities for low income families
