Fundraising for The Fostering Network
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It is 20 years since my last marathon so a long overdue challenge lies ahead. I have always wanted to run the New York Marathon and decided it needs to happen before I am 50!
I will be funding the entry, flights and accommodation so that all donations can go to The Fostering Network charity.
Over the last 12 months I have been inspired by the difference that foster carers make to children's lives and the challenge and dedication that this involves 24/7 every day of the year. The Fostering Network is the UK's leading fostering charity, they are the essential network for fostering and bring together everyone who is involved in the lives of fostered children. They support foster carers to transform children’s lives and they work with fostering services and the wider sector to develop and share best practice.
They work to ensure all fostered children and young people experience stable family life and are passionate about the difference foster care makes. They champion fostering and seek to create vital change so that foster care is the very best it can be.
There can be no greater benefit than making a difference to a child's life so please give generously to help this worthy cause.
