Man Vs Mountain · 5 September 2015

Mountain rescue team members are on call every day, of every month, of every year. Whatever the time, day or night. Whatever the weather. They do it voluntarily. They do it without question. At no cost to the casualty. And it's thanks to your generosity, they can continue saving lives. So thank you.

Story

I am taking part in Man Vs Mountain 2015 which involves running 22+ miles from Caernarfon Castle to the summit of Snowdon, then down to llanberis and up the zig zags (vertical kilometre) and finally down through a water obstacle course.

I completed this last year in 6:04:49 in good weather conditions and wondered if people would support me by sponsoring me a pound for every minute I am faster this year, or to make a contribution.

For those of us who venture into the mountains it is reassuring to know that help is at hand should it be needed; a call I hope I never have to make. Please help me to reach my goal this year and to continue supporting this fantastic charity of volunteers.
