On the 4th of march 2022 I will be running 4 miles ever 4 hours for 48 hours in memory of my sister Jill mccormick who sadly passed away in November 2021 just before her 19th birthday. Jill was a beautiful, special kind person and someone who had so much more to give in life but created so much memories in her short life, in doing this challenge I want to make sure her life lives on through me and the rest of my family. 

I am running for DAISY, a Start360 charity which provides therapeutic treatment and support services for children and young people, aged of 11 – 25, who are misusing substances. They also provide support for family members. I am thankful for their dedication to Jill and want to play a part in helping them to continue to support people who find themselves in similar positions.

In running this challenge I hope that I can raise awareness for DAISY and the help they can provide for people and families in similar positions but also to celebrate the good times in jills lives and the everlasting memory that she has left on us all ❤️
