Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page set up in memory of Phil Ives, husband to Fiona, brother to Martin, and father to Joanna, Victoria and Oliver. Dad sadly passed away on 25th March 2014.
Dad always donated generously to the charities he believed in, and for this reason we are suggesting that instead of sending flowers, if people wish they can make a donation in Dad's name to St. Nicholas Hospice.
Dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a very aggressive form of brain cancer, in January 2013 and spent some time in St. Nicholas Hospice towards the end of his life.
St. Nicholas Hospice Care works compassionately in the fields of life-threatening illness, death, and bereavement. They are a small hospice, local to Dad, that provide practical, medical and spiritual support to people and their families.
Many thanks,
Fiona, Martin, Jo, Victoria and Oliver
