For those of you not familiar with the National Three Peaks challenge, it involves climbing the three highest peaks in the UK: Snowdon (1085m) in Wales, Scafell Pike (978m) in England and Ben Nevis (1344m) in Scotland – all in under 24 hours.

Mike Williams, Karen Lolley,Steph Davies,Mike Tate, Ed Owen and Phill Rixon are taking on this challenge with the hope of raisng £2000 for the Warwickshire Air Ambulance Service.

The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) was established in 2003 and exists to provide a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service to the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area. The service does not simply transport patients to the nearest hospital. The service routinely carries senior Doctors and Consultants to the scene of incidents in just minutes, providing lifesaving treatment and medication at the scene and en-route to hospital. Warwickshire Air Ambulance takes the hospital to the patient, providing the best possible chance of a full recovery.
