It's 30 years since the Bradford fire, which claimed the lives of 54 Bradford fans and 2 Lincoln fans. I have lived and breathed Bradford City since I was a kid, and am running in memory of the 56 fans who went to watch a football match and never came home. I am proud of my club, proud of its fans and how they have handled the tragedy, and proud of my city. 

The Burns Unit was crucial in treating the many fans who were injured that day, developing pioneering treatments as a result of the fire. Their work continues today, and I want to ensure this will always be the case.
