Story
The Whitechapel Centre is a leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region. They work with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels or struggling to manage their accommodation. They are committed to help people to find and maintain a home and learn the life skills essential for independent living. In 2018-19 they worked with 4,323 people. Their projects reflect the diverse routes into & through homelessness. A variety of services, in different settings, compliment each other and ensure no one slips through the net of support.

PolyOne are committed to supporting people in need in the local community and the Knowsley CCC Committee has decided to take on the Whitechapel sleep out to raise money for this deserving cause.
Please support us by sponsoring the team taking part in Liverpool Sleepout on Friday 11th October. Your money goes a long way to help people in need and every amount makes a difference:
- £5 pays for a cooked breakfast for 10 rough sleepers
- £10 pays for internet connection in our centre for a month so clients can contact family, welfare service and employment opportunities
- £15 will provide a housing advice session that will help a homeless person secure accommodation
- £25 ensures someone who has slept rough can have a shower, warm food and clean clothes before sitting down with a support worker for housing advice
- £50 provides a welcome pack for someone arriving at labre house including a sleeping bag, roll mat, ear plugs, underwear, toiletries and belongings bag.
To make your donation go even further, PolyOne will kindly be matching the total money we raise for this event.
Thank you for your support!
