We support & empower refugees in Scotland to rebuild their lives in safety

Story

Dear all,

On Thursday 2nd June 2016 I did a sponsored press-up challenge to raise money for the Scottish Refugee Council (http://www.scottishrefugeecouncil.org.uk)

I often think of my comfortable life against the misery that refugees face, and I know something about it as my dad was a refugee from Hungary many years ago - as usual fleeing war.

I did as many press-ups as I could in one hour at the James Hutton Institute in Dundee, and in the end managed 1300.

Although the challenge is complete, for this year at least, it's never too late to support the event or the charity itself.

JustGiving sends your donation straight to Scottish Refugee Council so it’s a quick and safe way to donate.

Many thanks for your support. I truly appreciate your generosity, as I'm sure the more vulnerable in our society also do.

Ian
