This funding page, like every year has been created for everyone who is taking part in this year's Push for Prems sponsored walk! 

We are excited to announce that our 9th Push For Prems is on SUNDAY 15th JULY at 11:00am. No sign-up is required to do this sponsored walk. We will meet outside the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton and walk to Hove Lagoon, where we will have a picnic and release balloons in memory of those little ones that didn't make it home. Each year, we walk for the Early Birth Association (a registered charity that supports the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, RSCH, Brighton and PRH Special Care Baby Unit, Haywards Heath, by providing clothing, nursery items and vital life saving equipment. www.earlybirth.co.uk). This year we are  delighted to also be supporting the Neonatal Ambulance Unit, a specialised team that transfer premature babies who urgently need care to other hospitals.

Thank you for all your ongoing support over the years. Push for Prems has raised over £70,000 for the Early Birth Association, Ronald McDonald house (a home from home for parents with poorly children in hospital), SERV Sussex (a dedicated team that supply urgent blood and donor milk to hospitals throughout the night) and the Neonatal Ambulance Service. 

Anyone can join the walk, the more the merrier :) Please feel free to share this just giving page with your friends and families. We would also love it if you could dress up on the day, as it massively helps with the fundraising total. We also kindly ask that everyone doing the walk, get their sponsors to donate to this page. As we are dividing the money between two charities, it's much easier for admin to track final totals.

We are a tiny group of parents that organise Push for Prems, after spending months in the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, some of us with little ones weighing just a pound. We know what a terrifying experience this is but as prem parents we have seen our little ones defy the odds and show so much strength and determination for life. None of this would be possible without the amazing care provided by our special care baby units and the additional support provided through charitable donations.

It really is an awesome and inspiring sight to see so many children each year and we particularly welcome those that graduated recently :)
