We are a team of Midwives and Obstetricians and family members, and we're taking part in Tough Mudder North West in September 2018.  We completed the Tough Mudder 'Half' last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the wind, rain and plenty of mud!! :-)  This year we're going bigger and better and we're taking part in the full 10 mile course, which includes 20+ obstacles!!!

We're raising money for the maternity unit again as we want to make the women and families experience at our hospital the best it can possibly be.  Some of last years money bought Bluetooth speakers for each of the delivery rooms, theatres, reception areas and sitting rooms.  We also purchased new types of gowns called Kangakardies which assist mums to have skin to skin with their babies specifically whilst in theatre during caesarean sections.
