A second wave of the coronavirus pandemic is sweeping across India, with a devastating impact on peoples lives. Our incredibly dedicated team in India is working around the clock with local authorities to support the COVID response.

Story

Many of our RSA colleagues, family and friends have been personally impacted by the increasing numbers of COVID cases in India and the impact on the country's health system. Our thoughts are with all of those colleagues affected and we are doing all we can to support them.

We will be making a corporate donation to CARE International's India Covid Crisis appeal and are offering to match any additional donations by colleagues through this page £ for £.

CARE International are already in place on the ground and this emergency funding will support set up of temporary COVID care centres, hospital beds, medical oxygen and PPE, local vaccination drives and addressing the immediate relief needs of migrant labourers and their families who are experiencing increased poverty.
