ok so ... Behind the madness .......
Back in 2001, I sadly lost my Mum to a long battle with Breast Cancer and ever since I have been raising money and donating (when I can) to help find the cure.
In 2006, through dancing in my school talent show, I raised a total of 444 pounds alone in one night! It was emotional but also one of the best nights of my life with all the help of my family, best friends, other pupil's parents and my whole school supporting me. (So touched, Actually Could still greet now ....hahah)
This has motivated me even further and since then I have done a few 10ks for cancer research, but I still have always wanted to create my own event and raise money like never before. Then Last year, I had a vision to bring Alice's in Wonderland's 'MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY' to life in Glasgow, joining up With other like minded creatives, make up artists, photographers, models, Cosplayers, artists, and basically anyone to loves dressing up and having fun.
I am very creative person so With this vision, I knew had to follow my intuition and inner guidance and go along with this mad crazy idea!!! My tea party is literally growing arms and legs, no joke I don't know how I'm going to get everyone to fit through the door at this rate lmao but hey ...
(When you follow you heart, there is magic!)
Thought maybe it would be impossible and cost me far too much money, but (with the help of my Mum and my angels ;) ) I was brought to a place in Glasgow that had the best space and the most amazing deal I could ever ask for....I literally was brought to my knees.... (Thank you very much to Danny and all the megabytes team) I followed my heart and Now my dream is finally coming true.
My aim is to at least Raise a 500pounds in memory of my Mum, Sylvia Drum and if you are reading this, I would be eternally grateful if you could donate as little as 20p! (This still has an effect)
We all know someone that has died or been affected by Cancer, so hopefully this money can help (even if it is a small amount) no matter how small it will still further science in finding a cure. So just a massive * THANK YOU * to every single person that donates!
