Rachel's The BIG Leeds 100 Mile Bike Ride

The BIG Leeds Bike Ride · 21 September 2014 ·
Just a quick update...
Training going really well, one week to go!
This year I feel like I've really challenged myself and have met some wonderful folk along the way! I have cycled up some big hills, Buttertubs and Fleet Moss to name a couple, I have joined Otley Cycle Club and have ridden a Sportive and an Audax (long distance cycling event). I have survived a bike crash and I'm back in the saddle!
Who knows what next year will have in store......!
Hi
Thank you for visiting my page and supporting the Leeds Children's Hospital Appeal. Any donation really is greatly received and will make a difference to 1000's of young people and their families in Yorkshire and beyond.
The main aim of the appeal is to make every child's stay in hospital better, brighter and happier by banishing plain walls and provide artwork which enhances the environment and provide games & toys so patients and siblings don't get bored.
Then there's the state of the art medical equipment which makes procedures quicker, safer, less discomforting and helps maintain Leeds as a centre of excellence for Children's Hospitals.
Training is going well so far, I'm managing to ride 50-70 miles at least once a week plus my daily commute so I'm feeling fairly confident that I can achieve this.
Thanks again for visiting my page.
