On 1^st May we are taking on the challenge of conquering the UK’s tallest mountain, Ben Nevis in Scotland! Our aim is to raise money for this wonderful charity, Oscars PBTC - Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity.
Steve’s colleague Ian, set up this charity with his wife in 2014 when their 9 year old son, Oscar, passed away due to this terrible disease. Since this time, Ian and their 5 year old son, Milo, have also passed away due to the same illness.
The treatments involved to fight brain tumours have devastating effects on a young body and mind. This is unacceptable and the only way to change this is by continuing to research these cancers in order to develop less devastating treatments.
