Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Kelly is my big sister, the only person in my life capable of putting me back in my box! She is a massive pain in the backside, high maintenance beyond belief and has the highest expectations known to man. nothing less than she deserves.
She is selfless, kind, funny and most of all loved, loved beyond words.
oh and she's dramatic...She once called the police to file a missing persons report when Adam (our brother) decided to 'back door' it on a night out, grab a kebab and go home.
In the early hours of the morning on the 26th November 2017, I received call from my little brother, telling me that Kelly had been in a car accident, that is was bad.
He wasn't lying. Her injuries were horrific and she was in a coma, her Glasgow Coma Scale was a 3 at scene and remained that way.
Traumatic Subarachnoid Haemorrhage/TBI
Skull fracture of left side radiating into middle cerebral fossa
Unstable fractures of T7&8, C6&7
Pelvic fracture
Broken ribs
These are just part of the shopping list detailed in her discharge summary. Those responsible for saving her life had also saved our mums just 2 years previously after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
I am not sure how to say thank you.
These people have allowed my son to grow up with a grandma and auntie who love him dearly, and I am able to make more memories with my best friends.
the journey may be long, but its one we walk together.
Please help us raise money for Salford Royal to make sure others can return home to their families.
