British-Ukrainian Aid plans to improve accommodation for up to 200 IDPs from Donbass. We are hoping to help them to obtain new housing in the hostel located in the village of Radisne, Odessa region.

Story

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible towards the Radisne hostel renovation in the Odesa region. It was built during the Soviet era and needs a major overhaul to make it suitable for habitation. We hope that in 2017 it will become home for 51 families.

So far we have covered the cost of the roof repairs (stage 1 of the project) and are presently funding the installation of 28 doors (stage 2 of the project)

We need your support to raise funds towards the £10,382.70 (337,010.00 Ukrainian hryvnas) needed to complete the next stage of the renovation, replacing the windows in the hostel.

Once the doors and windows are in place, the building will be warm enough for builders to continue their work indoors during the winter months.
