Story

The year 2018 has been a turbulent year of my life - a year of a loss, grieving, set-backs and pains but also a year of joy of motherhood and renewal.

I lost my dear mother quite suddenly this year and my brother is fighting with cancer. I have felt inexpressibly profound grief.  The arrival of my little one has helped me pull through the pain and deal with the sorrow.

Destiny is beyond our control, the best we can do is to stand up and pull on in the face of adversity . I found it difficult to train for my first ever half marathon during maternity but I believe in the power of good Karma.

I am running for the Royal London Hospital because the staff go out of their way in caring for the patients. Every penny you donate will go directly towards buying the equipment hospital needs without any wastage.

Thanks for your support. Please do say a prayer for everyone in need of the medical assistance around the world.

About the charity

Friends aim to provide amenities to support the social recuperation of all ages that have to stay in the wards either before or following treatment. Funds are raised over and above the NHS provision to provide patient comforts, which help to make time spent in hospital better for all. Big Thankyou
