Story
OK, I know that last year I said that I would only do any form of torture [sorry, marathon] once in my life - but that was before the Beast from the East wrote off the Bath Half for 2018. I did the training; many of you kindly donated last year - and although I did run the course once the snow had subsided, it wasn't the same as doing it and (literally) getting the t-shirt.
So now in 2019, I'm back to run The Bath Half FOR REAL. It's a fantastic opportunity to raise a bit more money for Jamie's Farm, https://jamiesfarm.org.uk/ a wonderful local charity that combines the great outdoors and therapeutic interventions with a family atmosphere, to dramatically help disadvantaged 11-16 year olds who are at risk of permanent exclusion from school.
I will be so grateful for your donations, however small - they truly spur me on as I must say I am finding harder to motivate myself this year! I really do believe in what this charity is doing in the world.
THANK YOU! (and may it not snow - again!)
