Story
I will be raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind when I run the Virgin London Marathon on April 25th 2010.
Guide Dogs for the Blind receive no Government funding, and dogs are provided to those with visual impairment for a token fee of 50 pence, which means anyone who needs one is able to afford to do so. It costs around about £10 a day to fund a guide dog partnership, which over the course of the life of just one person can be a huge cost for an organisation that relies solely on voluntary donations.
So all that is left to say is please sponsor me, and if you can turn up on the day to cheer me on even better (I am going to seriously need it by the time I get to mile 26!). Anything you can spare is gratefully appreciated.
Thanks everyone!
