The BDA does some fantastic work within all sectors of deaf community including health, education and social care to name a few. 

Myself and Michael Freeman are deaf educators working in secondary education, my brother Mike is a Qualified BSL/English Sign Language Interpreter - the BDA is a charity close to us all. 

Mental health issues and suicide rates in the deaf community are higher than ever due to lack of access to mental health services. Cuts to Deaf Education have had a detrimental affect on the attainment of our deaf children. Therefore supporting the BDA in their work is crucial! 

We’ve been saying for years... ‘Lets do it!’ but now it’s actually a reality! We’re not runners but training hard to complete this half marathon. Any donations, big or small would be greatly appreciated!
